Authorized visa

1. Request authorized visa thirty (30) days before traveling to Panama

2. Complete the enclosed form (See attach below)

3. Present valid passport

4. Present bank/financial statement

5. Show letter/affidavit of person who will sponsor/represent you while in Panama

6. Copy of itinerary (We recommend not to buy the ticket until getting the authorization)

7. One (1) photograph

8. Copy of identification card from country of birth/residence

9. International Western Union Money Order(no others accepted) issued to "Consulate General of Panama"

Stamped visa (US Citizens)

1. If you are traveling to Panama, you need to get the Tourist Card at the airport while registering.

2. We recommend that when buying your plane ticket, ask the airline agency it the cards are sold at the airport counter.

3. The nominal fee for this card is in the amount of $5.00 and allows your stay for thirty (30) days in Panama.

4. If the airline does not provide a Tourist Card, then you can request a stamped visa through the Panamanian Consulate. This visa is valid for a year and you can enter the country as many times as you want. Each entry is valid for 30 days.

5. The visa issued is valid for either business or pleasure/tourism.

Stamped visa (Non US Citizens)

1. Present to the Consulate, your passport in order to get an stamped visa

2. Money order issued to "Consulate General of Panama". No personal checks will be accepted.

3. The validity of the stamped visa is for thirty days (30)

Countries that DO NOT requiere Visa

Residents outside the Houston Area

1. You can send/mail your passport in order to get the stamped visa

2. Since the passport is a very sensitive document of personal identification, we strongly recommend the use of a "courier service" when mailing it.

3. Also a prepaid envelope or courier is advised in order to return the passport to the correct mailing address requested by the client.

4. If there is no prepaid envelope/courier, we will proceed to send/mail the passport by regular mail, therefore the Consulate will not be responsible if the passport is lost.
